The differences between the two include different materials used, different levels of protection, and different applicable scenarios.

1. The materials used are different: the materials used for dry pack cable terminations are only high-voltage adhesive tape, phase color adhesive tape, plastic tape, and wiring terminals; Heat shrink terminal head: using plastic gloves, plastic heat shrink tubing, color tubes, wiring terminals, etc.

2. Different protection levels: Dry pack terminal heads do not have additional protection, so the protection level is lower, while heat shrink and poured terminal heads have much higher protection levels.

3. Applicable occasions are different: dry pack cable heads, suitable for general plastic and rubber insulated low-voltage cables; Cast in place cable heads are mainly used for oil immersed paper insulated cables; Heat shrink cable heads are suitable for cross-linked polyethylene cables and various cables ranging from 0.5 to 10KV.
